Admin/ Receptionist & People Person

Kids Matters OT, a well-established Brisbane Occupational Therapy clinic, is seeking an admin/ receptionist to work at our Greenslopes clinic. This position will ensure that the first point of contact for parents, and their children both face to face and in person is awesome, while the clinic runs smoothly. The receptionist warmly welcomes the new clients to the clinic, meets their administrative needs and supports the occupational therapists so they can serve their clients better.

Hours are 76 hours in a fortnight worked over 9 days (1 day off a fortnight). The position is temporary until June 2023 with the strong possibility that it will become permanent after 1 year.

As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for warm welcomes, fond farewells, and building relationships with children and their families. You will also be responsible for the supporting the administration side of the clinic with efficient and effective administration support and most importantly, creating a “WOW” experience for everyone who comes in contact with us. Your job will include keeping therapists’ diaries full, booking appointments, serving clients, managing cancellations and waiting lists, managing stock, keeping the facilities in order and supporting on other projects as needed, such as archiving. You are highly valued in this support role and are an integral member of the team.

Previous experience in a medical or allied health environment including Medicare and knowledge of NDIS will be favourably considered but is not necessary.
