There are two classes of assessment:
1) Emotional, Social and Behavioural Assessment
Read more The assessment process differs depending on the particular presenting concerns and the family’s specific needs. However, typically – an Assessment involves meeting with the parents and child to discuss the main areas of difficulty, the history of the presenting issues and any treatment received to date. A standardized assessment tool may also be used, which helps identify whether the child’s behaviour is age-appropriate, based on the parent and/or teacher’s perspective.
2) Cognitive and Learning Assessments
Crystal is able to conduct Cognitive Assessments which can help determine your child’s cognitive abilities and Learning Assessments which help to identify to whether or not any specific learning difficulties/Learning Disorders are present, and if so, in what areas?
