“Attention teachers and parents”
Kids struggling to pay attention and learn?
Check out this seminar on sensory smart classrooms
Many kids struggle to pay attention, engage and learn in the typical classroom setting. There is much that can be done to help in an inclusive way that helps the whole class get into the best learning state.
This interactive seminar looks at creating a classroom setting that is both engaging and supportive of children’s different sensory needs. From seating to fidgets, from brain breaks to hideouts, we will discuss and experience how different activities and simple ergonomic adaptations can be used effectively to help children stay in the just right zone for learning.
Michelle Cloete (Therapy Manager of Kids Matters OT) is a fun and practical speaker with extensive training and experience in sensory processing theory and practice both within and outside the classroom.
