Bronwyn believes in building trusting, nurturing and collaborative relationships with every child and their family to help them reach their full potential in meaningful activities. She utilises a strengths-based and family-centred approach in therapy, and enjoys seeing a child develop their skills and their confidence grow as they achieve big and small milestones.

Bronwyn graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and developed a passion for working in the area of paediatrics. She previously coached swimming, has experience babysitting, and worked at a kindergarten and OSHC. She enjoys getting creative to motivate children to engage in activities.

Bronwyn has worked in a multi-disciplinary practice (with Speech Pathologists) as an allied health assistant where she created resources and facilitated therapy alongside occupational therapists. She has worked in a childcare formulating behavioural support plans and providing strategies for children to support social interaction and engagement in activities.

Bronwyn believes each child is a unique individual and hopes to provide opportunities for engagement in activities that will develop each child’s strengths, interest, skills and capabilities. She is passionate about building trusting, nurturing relationships with every child and their family. Bronwyn believes in creating a supportive environment where playing in therapy will foster engagement in activities.

Bronwyn was born in Johannesburg in South Africa and moved to Australia when she was 12 years old with her mum, dad, and younger sister. She completed high school and University in Brisbane.

Sometimes, despite our best efforts you or the therapist may find that you are not a good fit. If your therapist feels that he or she is not best suited to you, he/ she will discuss this with you and recommend a more appropriate therapist.

If you feel that your therapist is not a good fit within the first three sessions, simply discuss this with our admin team who will find a more suitable therapist.
