The Kids Matters Community Foundation
For more than 20 years, Kids Matters OT has had the privilege of supporting countless children and families through expert therapy services. Along the way, we’ve also seen how much a family’s financial circumstances can shape whether a child gets the support they need.
We believe every child deserves access to essential support, regardless of their family’s situation. This belief led us to take a bold step forward. In late 2022, we saw an opportunity to make a real difference, and in January 2023 we established The Kids Matters Community Foundation as a not-for-profit organisation.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bridge the gap for families in need by funding assessments that connect children to essential specialist health care, at the right time, so they can build on their strengths and thrive at home, school and in their community.
Our Vision
A world where every child, regardless of their family’s circumstances, has equal opportunity to thrive. By funding essential assessments and evaluations, we’re working towards a future where every family can access the support they need, so their child can participate fully and lead a happy, healthy life.
