Make a Difference in Kid’s Lives:
Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Yeerongpilly)
We’re looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, skilled and friendly team at Yeerongpilly.
This role is best suited to a therapist with at least 4 years’ experience who is ready for the next step in their career. You’ll find your place in a team where clinical excellence, strong connection, and ongoing development are deeply valued. Be supported to care for your clients and grow in a way that works for you.
At Kids Matters OT, you’ll benefit from:
Inspiring therapy conversations with other experienced OTs
Support in managing tricky clinical presentations and family dynamics
Encouragement to collaborate with a child’s wider team — including educators, other health professionals and support networks
Opportunities to support children in clinic, at home, in the community, at kindy or school, or online — whatever best supports their needs
Why Kids Matters?
We’re an occupational therapy clinic with a strong culture that’s lived every day. Our culture is grounded in Connection, Collaboration, Quiet Mastery, Excellence and Playfulness — values that shape the way we support each other, make decisions and work with families.
Our spaces are purpose-built to meet a variety of needs, including sensory gyms and distraction-reduced rooms, and we’re committed to offering a well-rounded, supported work environment — no matter where you are on your professional journey.
What You’ll Enjoy
Working alongside 10 senior clinicians and a wide range of early to mid-career therapists
The opportunity to grow into informal supervision and mentoring responsibilities when you’re ready
Full admin support (billing, bookings, phone calls) so you can focus on your clients
A gradually built caseload with sustainable KPIs that support work-life balance
Paid non-contact time to manage documentation and clinical preparation
Weekly supervision with a senior clinician (then tailored to your needs, minimum monthly)
A generous PD budget tailored to your clinical interests
Use of a dedicated desk space, your own laptop, and access to an iPad for community visits
Reimbursed travel for community work, kept within a tight geographical radius
About the Role
Based at our Yeerongpilly location (with clinic and community-based work)
Flexible work options: Full-time or Part-time (minimum 24 hours/week)
You’ll need a reliable car and current driver’s licence
You’ll have some autonomy in your caseload and can match your clinical strengths to client needs
Employed position within a values-led, stable not-for-profit organisation
Access to salary packaging
Please note – this position requires a minimum of 4 years’ experience and the ability to work independently within a team.
