Chloe is a neuro-affirming, family-centred Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive in their everyday lives. She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from The University of Queensland and is also a qualified Child-Centred Play Therapist. As an endorsed Mental Health Occupational Therapist through the Better Access initiative, Chloe can provide therapy under Mental Health Care Plans.
With a background in both generalist and paediatric practice, Chloe brings a broad and well-rounded perspective to her work. Her approach is strengths-based, playful, and grounded in building meaningful relationships with each child and their support network. Chloe works closely with families, educators, and other health professionals to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to therapy, believing that even small steps forward can have a powerful impact on a child’s development and wellbeing.
Chloe has extensive experience supporting children from infancy through to young adulthood, including those with complex needs. Prior to her current role, she worked in a multidisciplinary clinic alongside speech pathologists, providing therapy and support for children and adults with complex disabilities. This included equipment prescription, home and vehicle modifications, and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) services.
At Kids Matters, Chloe has developed a strong interest in supporting neurodivergent children and those with a background of trauma and mental health challenges. She is committed to tailoring her interventions to meet the individual needs of each child and ensure continuity of care across home, school, and community environments.

Chloe uses a play-based, relationship-driven approach to therapy. She recognises play as a child’s most natural way of expressing themselves, learning, and connecting with others. Therapy sessions are guided by the child’s interests and strengths, helping them to feel safe, seen, and supported. Chloe combines creativity, clinical reasoning, and a deep understanding of child development to create therapy plans that are both effective and engaging.
Originally from the remote mining town of Mount Isa in Northwest Queensland, Chloe has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by families in rural and remote communities. With a longstanding interest in science, maths, and the arts, occupational therapy offered the perfect blend of her passions and led her to pursue a career in healthcare. This background continues to drive her commitment to improving access to high-quality, family-centred therapy — including through telehealth — for children and families living outside metropolitan areas.
Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her beloved Burmese cat, Franklin. She has a love for music and plays the violin in a local string orchestra.
