Hannah loves giving children an equal opportunity to participate in everyday activities and delights in seeing them having fun and enjoying participation. As a gymnastic coach since 2015, she has much experience working with a range of children of many ages over many years. She brings this experience to her OT career to not only help children succeed at their everyday occupations, but to also enjoy the process.

Hannah has experience working with:

  • Autistic children
  • ADHDers
  • Intellectual impairment
  • Developmental delays
  • Supporting social development and emotional regulation

Hannah loves fun as this is the best way to get engagement and participation from a child. She uses occupations and activities that are relevant and important to the child and family to support mastery where it counts. She is also very family-centred and collaborative so therapy can fit in with the needs of each child and family. With Hannah, the child and their family are partners in achieving their goals.

Hannah is the middle child of 10 siblings so has much lived experience with children across the lifespan. Her skill with children is also honed as she spends time caring for her nieces and nephews and gymnastic coaching.

Outside of work, Hannah is an animal lover, especially of horses, dogs and her calico cat Tiger. She has created an indoor sanctuary of beautiful indoor plants including her fiddleleaf fig and many vines. In her spare time, she loves painting still life and animals, horseriding and playing board games (especially Catan).

Sometimes, despite our best efforts, you or the therapist may find that you are not a good fit. If your therapist feels that he or she is not best suited to you, he/she will discuss this with you and recommend a more appropriate therapist.

If you feel that your therapist is not a good fit within the first three sessions, simply discuss this with our admin team who will find a more suitable therapist.
